Most universal fit! Use for RV slide-outs that have a metal rim and/or rubber seals (weather stripping) installed on the back (facing the RV) of the slide itself. Use our SlideGuard Extension (Square) to provide full protection. Waterproof, fade-resistant, and not affected by most chemicals including grease, oil, and gasoline. SlideGuards are reusable and fold flat for storage after use!

Installation

  • With “buttons” facing inward towards RV, align the middle of SlideGuard with the corner of slide-out.
  • Bend SlideGuard to form a 90-degree angle.
  • Starting with one side, gently fold the rear-facing lip of the SlideGuard around the rubber seal or metal rim on the back of the slide-out. With both sides on, push from each end to close the gap at the corner.
  • Secure the SlideGuard by connecting the two buttons together using the elastic band provided.
  • Customize the length of SlideGuard by cutting with a sharp knife.

Warranty

RV-Safe Zone warrants that this product has been fully inspected and is free of visible defects in materials and workmanship and will function for its intended purpose under normal operating conditions. This warranty shall be in effect for (1) full year from the original purchase date.  The warranty shall not apply to damages resulting from errors in installation, nor shall it apply to any equipment which has subject to damage, alterations or misuse by the consumer. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THIS DESCRIPTION, AND EXPRESSLY NO IMPLIED WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  IN NO EVENT SHALL RV-SAFE ZONE BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTIAL, ACCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SUFFERED BY THE PURCHASER.  Returns should be handled through your local dealer or distributor and accompanied by the original sales receipt.
